I am a Red…
What does this mean? It describes my personality type under the Hartman Personality Profile. A red loves power, they love being in control, they are relentless, they have unbelievable drive and believe emotion has nothing to do with tasks.
As a Red… I can be seen as arrogant, I can be seen as forward, I can be seen as emotionless, I can be seen as harsh… I’m just being me and I won’t apologise.
Red’s have a lot of strengths:
- We are Proactive
- Confident We are Leaders
- We take pressure like very few can and we will always be in the firing line.
We also have a lot of weaknesses, we could listen more, we could take people’s feelings into consideration, we could be less controlling and be less domineering… But then we wouldn’t be us.
Don’t be Fake!!!
Marilyn Monroe has a famous saying: “If you can’t handle me at my worst then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best”. I love this line, we all have to change and adapt to situations but I firmly believe in focusing on your strengths and being true to the real you.
You should always be who you are and not who people want you to be, you can waste so much energy and more importantly time, working on the things people want you to change, rather than focusing on the strengths you have and become the best form of you that you can possibly be.
Starting back blogging this week and I am toates excited… Been to long, way way too long!!! I’m back 😉 pic.twitter.com/oQtt8vhHAb

Understanding who you are, what personality type you have and what you should be focusing on to improve, is essential, to any real personal growth and development.
I want to get better, I want to improve but I will improve what I want, the way I want… This is my life, Only I can live it, only I can really challenge myself, only I can be fully aware of where I need to make real improvements.
I’m a red, I’m proud to be a red and really happy to be on a pathway to becoming the best form of me, I can possibly be. External pressures, societal norms or any of that stuff has nothing to do with me, my journey, or my ambitions.
I’ve learned to focus on my strengths, to focus on what can make me the best leader, the best motivator, the best at execution and the best form of me.
My Tips for Focus
Find out who you are, who you want to be, what personality type you are and what your strengths are. Make a plan for personal development and stick to it, live your dreams and ambitions every single day… enjoy the challenge, remember to always be the real you and enjoy every minute of the life you have created for yourself.
